“I would happily recommend the courses and services of Victor Wolf to Medical, Nursing and Healthcare Professionals wanting to improve their career prospects by relocating to the UK. In helping such professionals and adapt to life in the UK your courses contribute to helping you feel at ease in your new workplace and in understanding standard UK work practices and communicating easily with colleagues and patients”. These comments from one of our candidates capture what we believe quality and care is all about. It comes from a person, who felt well prepared to work competently in a new environment after having completed one of our courses successfully, and was helped to find a suitable job in the UK healthcare sector as well as being assisted to settle down easily in the UK.
If you are looking for a company that will help you to improve career prospects, including enhancing your English Language skills at a minimum financial or professional risk, you will want to be confident in choosing the right organisation - one that offers a good standard of expertise, care and support for you and your family.
There are regulatory bodies that conduct inspections, award agencies and other service providers in the UK healthcare sector quality ratings, (such as our clients, who manage nursing and care homes, hospitals or provide live-in care services). In England, we have the Care Quality Commission; in Scotland the Scottish Commission for Regulation of Care; in Wales the Care and Social Services Inspectorate and in Northern Ireland the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority.
In the latest Scottish Care Quality Commission inspection of Victor Wolf (2010) the quality of all of victor Wolf services, are rated good or very good.
Quality ratings are given according to criteria such as quality of information, quality of care and support, quality of staffing and quality of management and leadership.
The ratings provide a useful indicator as to how good a training or recruitment agency is. You can check the quality rating for us online at the regulatory authority website (www.carecommission.com), or simply ask us.
It is worth remembering that ratings reflect what the inspectors found at a point in time. Since the inspection we have addressed any concerns raised and carried out any improvements recommended by the inspector.
Also, membership of a business association sets standards. We are a member of The Recruitment and Employment Confederation ( REC). The REC is the representative body for the UK’s private recruitment and staffing industry with a membership of more than 8,000 corporate members (including recruitment companies and their branches) comprising agencies and businesses from across all sectors. As much as 5,500 members of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) made up of recruitment consultants and other industry professionals. All members must abide by an REC Code of Professional Practice. For more details about REC please refer to www.rec.uk.com.
The most valuable part of our REC membership is the assurance it provides our clients, candidates and staff that we live up to the highest standards of best practice in recruitment. Adhering to standards set by REC is a key way of assuring our clients and (candidates that we are doing things correctly and complying with the relevant legislation.
Victor Wolf also carries out customer satisfaction research with our candidates and clients residents so we have feedback on how well they think we are doing. We value these satisfaction surveys in helping us continuously to improve the quality of our service. The regulatory inspectors have the benefit of seeing a large number of agencies so they are able to make comparisons. Medical and Healthcare professionals do not have the same ability to make comparisons with other training or recruitment agencies, but clients including medical and healthcare professionals provide feedback for us. When you are choosing an agency to work with, it is a good idea to ask the agency if they have a customer satisfaction survey, what sort of feedback they achieve and if you can communicate independently with anyone who has used their services. We provide such access.
This shows that Quality is at the forefront of the services that we provide. What this means is that candidate and clients can expect the highest levels of attention, professionalism and support, but when any issues become apparent we will strive to resolve them.
Although we are not registered in every country , where we are active , we are registered with the Scottish and Northern Ireland Care Commissions , that regulate recruitment agencies for the healthcare sector. Recently the Scottish Care Commission completed an audit report on Victor Wolf , which is available to the general public . In addition, informal comments on our services are available through access to our social networking services (Face book and Twitter) if anyone wishes to make a comment.
Our staff will always listen to what clients and candidates and their families have to say and will provide them with as much feedback as they practically and legally are able to do.
