FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a legal company/registered company? How can I make sure that your company complies with UK regulations?

Yes, we are registered in England and Wales, under company number: 03252431. You can make sure that the company is registered by checking the records of the Public Office, Companies House. We are also registered with the Scottish Care Commission and with The Northern Ireland Care Commission. Our policies, procedures and quality of service are subject to constant monitoring by these Authorities. We are a member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation in the UK.

Why do you have training courses for health care professionals?

We believe that it will give you a better chance of entering your chosen profession, and will give you a better chance of being successful in your new job in the UK.
Our courses are looked on very favorably by potential employers, and provide you with the key competencies employers look for in candidates.
It is very important that you are aware of the cultural differences associated with working in the UK, as this will allow you to settle in quickly and ensure you are effective in your work.

Who will determine my suitability for work? How will it be determined?

Your suitability for your chosen profession will be determined by our experience Nurse Assessors. These are Nurses registered with the NMC, who have substantial experience in recruitment and training in the UK health care sector.

What are JPP and JPPE?

JPP stands for Job Placement Program. It is our basic program for individuals with intermediate English. It involves an optional 4 week online study course, undertaken in your own time at home, prior to being placed in your chosen profession in the UK. During this time, assistance is provided in collection documents, NMC registration, and English language lessons are provided.

JPPE stands for Job Placement Program and English. It is designed for individuals who do not speak, understand or write a level of English to secure a post in the UK health care sector. For health professionals in this situation, who would like to come to work in the UK, we can provide the opportunity of a placement with a UK family, to work as an au-pair and learn English while living with native English speakers.

What happens if you don't find a suitable vacancy for me?

If you choose to undertake our course, and we are then unable to find you appropriate employment, then you will not have to pay the fees for the training course. The majority of our training fees are paid only once you are living and working in the UK – the fees are then repaid by you in monthly installments. This arrangement will be mutually agreed prior to your undertaking of the course. If you do not choose to go on our course, we cannot offer assurances that you will obtain a job through us, however due to the large number of selected employers we regularly work with, there should always be a range of opportunities available to our applicants

.

How soon can I come to the UK?

This will depend on how quickly you can obtain the required documents. It will also depend on the progress of your NMC registration, if you are applying for a nurse position. As soon as we have your CV in the appropriate format, (and NMC registration has been completed for Nurses), we can begin to send it to potential employers. From this point it should take no more than 1 or 2 weeks to begin to arrange interviews for you.

Do you guarantee that you'll be able to find suitable vacancy for me?

We cannot give such a guarantee as a lot will depend on you yourself and your commitment to the program, but we can assure you that we will do our very best to find a suitable job for you. If we are unable to find a suitable vacancy for you, you will not have to pay for the training course (if you have chosen to undertake it).

Where will I be placed?

We cannot say for definite at the beginning of your program where in the UK you will be placed. This often depends on the needs and requirements of prospective employers, who may own a large number of nursing homes throughout the UK. If you have any preference as to where you would like to be based, you must let us know when you first apply, and we will do our best to find work for you there.

Do I need to pay for your services?

We do NOT charge you anything for finding you a job.
We do charge a training fee for our training courses. These fees are:
For nurses: £800 for JPP program/ £850 for JPP + English program
For care assistants: £500 JPP program/ £550 for JPP + English program

Only £150 must be paid before undertaking the course. The remainder of the fee does not have to be paid until we have found you a suitable placement, and you have begun working in the UK. Only then are you required to pay the training fee, and this will be paid in small installments. If we are unable to find you a job on successful completion of the course, you do not have to pay the fee.

How much will I earn as a nurse or a health care assistant?

As a nurse you can earn initially a minimum of £18,000 gross per year. During the period of supervision you will earn as a nurse approximately £7.80 gross per hour. Once you have completed the period of supervision satisfactorily you can expect as a qualified nurse to earn £24,000 gross per year. Theatre Nurses can earn from £30,000 per year.
